If you have read the books Tipping Point (Malcolm Gladwell) or The Power of Habits (Charles Duhigg), or if you have followed my articles in the last 8 years, especially since 2024, when I got back from the UK, I have consistently written about two important factors in changing a geographic region: CORNERSTONE HABITS & TIPPING POINT.

I am a firm believer that change will only come when people are first informed of the truth, and then allowed to make the right decision at the inflection/tipping point- what people call ''the last straw that broke the camel's back''.
[On the contrary, if they unfortunately choose to continue in willful ignorance and falsehood, change will still come in the form of judgment- when God says ''their cup is full''; ''their time is up''.]

2 SUREST WAYS TO WEALTH CREATION & FINANCIAL FREEDOM ALL THROUGH HISTORY

There are 2 ways to enduring wealth through all of history;

1. Take a seed and use the resources already in the earth/Nature to multiply it exponentially and it keeps generating money even while you sleep, enlarging astronomically as time ages it.

Or

2. Create a "Cycle"/system that takes a particular waste product (e.g. words, urine, rubber, plastic, sleep, books, clothes, time, money, water)  and makes it useful again for humanity, generating wealth even while you sleep, as long as humanity produces it as a waste.

The professional courses and specialized-learning professions listed below can be started by teenagers and young adults right after Secondary School/High school (or even after primary school education for some), and they will start earning money IMMEDIATELY after acquiring the specialized knowledge/getting certified. The best thing is that they will own their knowledge and certificates for life, and can start their own companies or consultancy if they so desire. While some of these require natural talent, most of them only require you to be hungrily desirous to learn and determined to achieve greatness in the chosen field.

There is probably a Youtube video on each of the following professions/career paths below. The Sky or Outer Space is no longer the limit...your ignorance is!

This blog is supposed to be suspended indefinitely on money/personal finance matters because of personal reasons (I already gave in the last few blog posts). Excepting for personal musings, important announcements and other random updates, if I am not here, it is assumed I am reading for my exams. However, recent happenings in the Nigerian online personal finance/”Make Money Online” space saddened me and I am forced (out of recess, abi na recession..lol) to make this post.

My purpose in life as I shared in the last blog post is to help/show people the way out of poverty -whether or not I am 'rich'.
God specifically told me that he did not send me to "first acquire wealth, and then start teaching people how to do the very same thing I did" -which was what I was hustling to do and sadly, repeatedly failing at.

I am simply to show others that to be rich, they need the right mindset, then discipline and diligence, and finally, ideas and strategies. ALL OTHER THINGS ARE EXCESS TO SUPPLY!

Life Is Never Hard...Achieving And Maintaining Success In Life Is!

I recently paid about N800,000 ($2500) to rent and repair a 3 bed-room apartment in Lagos, after I was given a quit notice at my former place. Before then, my generator was stolen where I put it outside (that former place), followed by one of my phones also being stolen while the other got spoilt. CNL has not paid 11th-month salaries, and we are also late on other company expenses...not to talk of deadlines. In the midst of planning for a 'society wedding' (lol, I wish!), my mum goes to and returns from the United States with a gamut of psychological and financial issues.

Yet, I can make bold to say that "Life is not hard...!" And if anyone tells you life is hard, they lie, or are simply ignorant. But do not let anyone decieve you saying that it is easy to make it. While it might have become easy for them having done the "hard things" over and again till it became second nature, or have certain things fall in place for them by providence, we all have to accept the work involved in attaining success- AND DO IT TO BECOME SUCCESSFUL.

No, life is not hard! The hard part is in trying to achieve success with the very cards life has dealt you.

When It Comes To Spending And Borrowing, Don’t Behave Like Your Government...

...because while the government can print more currency to meet its (debt) obligations, or increase its spending, you can only work extra to make more money within your maximum quota of 24 hours daily.

No! Don’t be like the governments of the world who print more currency once they have more need of cash, instead of finding ways to prune down costs and reduce their spending. I used to have that mindset too believing that the fact that one can easily make (or print) money is enough evidence to throw caution to the winds by not being prudent in spending.

I watched this video series by Mike Maloney recently, and it enlightened me further on debt, money and currency issues. You can view it in your spare time too, you will learn a ton though Mike is a gold and silver investment buff. 

I was actually researching for an IoT ATM-money fax machine (that I want Credicoins to build to give to its offline agents in order to facilitate a cashless society), then my partner, Bowale Banjoko sent the link to me.

Still On Automation: Of Algorithms, Biases, Cognitive Illusions and Dangers To Your Wealth

After writing the last article on my obsession to automate savings and investments for myself and many others, I picked up the 2011 bestseller ‘Thinking, Fast and Slow’, by the Nobel Prize winner Daniel Kahneman, and found some very useful tips. This article borrows heavily from his wisdom and also from another classic by Nassim N. Taleb’s ‘The Black Swan’, on why it is futile for humans – even supposed experts- to think we can always predict the future (better than a mathematical formula or algorithm).

What these authors -behavioural economists and psychologists- have come to find out from numerous researches in a nut shell is: ‘Your biases and illusions, heuristic beliefs and assumptions might be the greatest threats to you becoming wealthy’. My partner and co-founder ‘Bowale Banjoko will say “You are proud...and your pride will keep you poor!”

But I learnt the hard way recently when I became overconfident and cocky about my Forex skills and transferred into my Forex accounts my highest amounts ever –disobeying my own rules and amount limit for trading. And then I lost it all while chasing other losses, thereby reinforcing the need for automation.
