HOW TO POSITIVELY CHANGE NIGERIA/BLACK AFRICA, ONE APP AT A TIME- YOU THINK PELLER IS AN OLODO, YOU ARE THE FOOL!!!

Peller - Nigerian Content Creator
Peller (Nigerian Content Creator)

If you have read the books Tipping Point (Malcolm Gladwell) or The Power of Habits (Charles Duhigg), or if you have followed my articles in the last 8 years, especially since 2024, when I got back from the UK, I have consistently written about two important factors in changing a geographic region: CORNERSTONE HABITS & TIPPING POINT.

Charles Duhigg's The power of habits and Malcolm Gladwell's Tipping Point

I am a firm believer that change will only come when people are first informed of the truth, and then allowed to make the right decision at the inflection/tipping point- what people call ''the last straw that broke the camel's back''.
[On the contrary, if they unfortunately choose to continue in willful ignorance and falsehood, change will still come in the form of judgment- when God says ''their cup is full''; ''their time is up''.]

SO, HOW IMPORTANT IS THE ''CORNERSTONE''?

AGAIN, HOW TO ECONOMICALLY SURVIVE THE LAST FEW DAYS OF THIS DISPENSATION

AGAIN, HOW TO ECONOMICALLY SURVIVE THE LAST FEW DAYS OF THIS DISPENSATION

1. We are at (economic) war. FOCUS!!!
Economically, do not lose focus; do not be distracted. Choose ONLY 1 thing/profession/skill...and focus on it until you have steady/regular income coming from it, and can do that thing so well that even if they wake you up suddenly in the middle of the night, you won't make a mistake while executing it. Be excellent, such that your clients will never regret paying you to do it because you were terrible at your job.

The major reason why I like LinkedIn is that it asks you to put a label that shows your area of FOCUS. For me, I chose OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY! And that label keeps me focused.

Remember: if you are not making money from ONE skill/profession/trade while you sleep because of the systems that you have put in place, then, you are not yet a master of it. Go and master it!!! (That is a priority.) It is ungodly to jump around professions like a prostitute jumps on different men, especially into others' trade/to ask for a contract or money for a business that you know nothing about. It is not ''being smart'', it is being unrighteous. And your clients and end users will curse you for it. God will also judge you for your ungodliness on the last day.

HOW TO CONCENTRATE ON VALUE OUTSIDE OF CASH- MY LIFE EXPERIMENT SINCE 2017

www.sijinius.com

For the past 7 years, since August 2017, I completely changed my mindset to (having) cash. I have sought to live cashless in an urban area. I must confess that this was as a direct result of Rev 13 and my Endtime prophetic calling.

My personal finance blogging and my intention to build a Fintech company/be financially successful in the eyes of the world went in the opposite direction.

While I have not fully gotten a grasp on the methods in which I have employed to achieve this mental paradigm change, I am slowly getting there. Of course, almost everyone in my life thinks that I am crazy and it has not been easy on my mental health, necessitating the writing of my upcoming book* on helping people with depression, anxiety and loneliness. We must continue to help people, no matter what!
[Note: All my entrepreneurial endeavors always stem from personal problems or pain points or passion, that I hope can be of help to one other person who might just have the same problem as me.]

HOW TO SURVIVE THE WORSENING GLOBAL ECONOMIC DOWNTURN, RECESSION & GREAT POVERTY AHEAD

What is a Global Recession?

During depressing economic times like this, when inflation and the cost of living rise faster than people's income, (poor) people always lose their hard-earned money. Lotteries, covetous pastors, pyramid schemes & fraudsters make lots of money from people who believe that the little they have is not enough, so they are tempted to double it by giving it out. This period is the time to keep money not give it.

Economic Depression is the time to keep money, not give it out!

I repeat- Economic Depression is the time to keep money, not give it out!

30 DIFFERENT WAYS TO EARN MILLIONS BUILDING A PROFESSIONAL CAREER WITHOUT EVER GOING TO UNIVERSITY/COLLEGE POST-COVID-19

sijinius.com

The EDUCATION world had actually changed before COVID-19- the pandemic only served to wake up the world to WHAT IS ESSENTIAL, as against what isn't essential.

The professional courses and specialized-learning professions listed below can be started by teenagers and young adults right after Secondary School/High school (or even after primary school education for some), and they will start earning money IMMEDIATELY after acquiring the specialized knowledge/getting certified. The best thing is that they will own their knowledge and certificates for life, and can start their own companies or consultancy if they so desire. While some of these require natural talent, most of them only require you to be hungrily desirous to learn and determined to achieve greatness in the chosen field.

There is probably a Youtube video on each of the following professions/career paths below. The Sky or Outer Space is no longer the limit...your ignorance is!

Minimalism Could Be Your Missing Link To Great Wealth and Contentment

www.sijinius.com

I came across this BBC picture article on minimalism recently, and it kept me thinking if Minimalism is what is needed in "poor countries" like Nigeria, to become wealthy both as a nation and people.

My dad told me that our moral rot and infrastructural decay as a country began after the oil boom of the early 70s. He said that the government of Gowon was advised by Chief Awolowo to invest the new found wealth in infrastructure, but the then head of state preferred to dole out cash benefits to top government functionaries and civil servants, and increased salaries for everyone.

He said to me that people then began acquiring electronics and other material things. Villagers no longer wanted to be farmers, and incidences of house robbery skyrocketed (-it is funny though how thieves rarely rob houses nowadays to steal TV sets and Sound systems, unlike before).

Today, about 45 years after, I ask, "Is Nigerians' craze for imported 'goods' and unbridled appetite for 'materialism and consumerism' (especially as we are no longer a 'producing economy',) the reason for our poverty?"

Personal Finance Expertise Comes From Real Deeds, Not (Just) Books, Classes Or Certificates

www.sijinius.blogspot.com

Phew! I must apologize for the long absence.

It is hard to do business in an economic recession
It is hard to do business in Nigeria without cash and light, and even when you have cash, you can't get fuel to power your generator. Again my laptop was down, and my new medical job did not afford me the opportunity to fix it on time. Even Credicoins has felt the bitter chill of the economic crunch.

You do not need to be anointed to be a personal finance advisor
There are more than 1000 personal finance blogs on the internet. And it does not take a certificate to become a personal finance blogger, neither does it take a special Church anointing to start blogging your personal finances.

It is easy to say things like "I want to be a Personal Finance Expert in 3 years", but I am fast discovering that, while you can read all the books and know all the theory, it takes a lifetime to PRACTICE. But ambition is good, irrespective.

To Be Very Rich Is A Lot Of Hardwork...Just Make Sure It Is Work You Enjoy!

www.sijinius.com

There is nothing as sweet as getting paid to do what you would have gladly done for free. Playing football is hardwork, but Messi seems to be enjoying it. Playing good Tennis is also hardwork, but Serena Williams don't care. I am sure programming, and managing software engineers is also not easy, but Facebook's billionaire- Mark Zuckerberg ain't complaining.

However, do not be deceived the rich are a very hardworking class. In actual fact, mostly more hardworking than every other class. And that is why I get angry at African (/Yoruba proverbs and) songs that say things like "I want to get easy money without sweat", or "If hardwork was what made people rich, the laborer in the market would be a millionaire", etc.

If You Had To Die, Than Be Successful, Would You Rather Die?!

One of the guiding principles of my life and work ethic is this- YOU EITHER FIND A WAY, OR AN EXCUSE!

I stumbled upon a Facebook post by Humans of New York concerning an accounting graduate who needed a job badly and went all out, showing grit and resilience, to getting it.

Here it is:

“I graduated last May with an accounting degree and moved to the city. But four months had passed and I didn’t have a job yet. I’d probably sent out my resume to thirty different places. And I couldn’t afford to keep waiting for people to call me back. So I went to the strip with all the car dealerships and started going door-to-door to see if they had any openings in accounting. I’ve always loved cars. I used to always read Consumer Reports with my dad. So I thought it would be a good fit. The lady at BMW was a bit standoffish. Then I went to Audi. They were great. Super welcoming. But they didn’t have any positions at the moment. Then I got to Jaguar/Land Rover-- which was my first choice, so I was working up to it— and they sat me down right there for an interview. I was there all afternoon, then they said: ‘We like what we see. Can you start tomorrow?’ I ran outside and called my parents. My dad was so proud of me. I was so proud of myself.”

How To Achieve Your Financial Goals Faster in 2016...Through Others

www.sijinius.blogspot.com

Hi, I've been doing a lot of research for and around Credicoins. I have been scouring the whole web to know what solutions presently exist in helping people/savers achieve their financial goals faster by leveraging on the help of the people around them.

Though I am yet to find (thankfully) a site that combines everything the way Credicoins intends doing- a new currency, pay 'poor people' to set and achieve individual financial goals, use a unique crowdfunding resource for helping individuals achieve their goals, a social lending ROSCA platform (cCon), interest-yielding savings deposit accounts, money-making MLM opportunities and social media-based entrepreneurship through personalised blogs/profiles similar to Tsu, Facebook, etc.
