PRACTICAL MEASURES TO LIVE SIMPLE AND SURVIVE THE GREAT TRIBULATION AHEAD

Live a simple life

Using the same strategy I have used since I was born in Lagos more than 30 years ago, God has directed me to tell you to cut your living expenses down to the barest minimum, so that you may have excess, and hopefully, you will be willing to share some of that excess with those in poverty as we enter the Great Tribulation.

I will be using my life example, living in Nigeria and overseas.

The underlying theme is this- LIVE SIMPLE, CUT DOWN ON COMFORT TOTALLY!!! I cannot stress that enough. The Great Tribulation is not like any period this earth has ever witnessed. Brace up. It begins now!

1. HOUSING: Your rent should not be more than 1 month's salary/income, if in Nigeria. In places like the UK, your rent or mortgage should not be more than your weekly salary. If you have to start living with people in a shared apartment arrangement, pls do so. If you do not have a job, you must not be paying rent at all. If the city is too expensive, go back to your village. If you pay the mortgage, get a tenant, including any of your biological children staying with you, and use the rent to offset your monthly bill.

HOW TO SURVIVE THE WORSENING GLOBAL ECONOMIC DOWNTURN, RECESSION & GREAT POVERTY AHEAD

What is a Global Recession?

During depressing economic times like this, when inflation and the cost of living rise faster than people's income, (poor) people always lose their hard-earned money. Lotteries, covetous pastors, pyramid schemes & fraudsters make lots of money from people who believe that the little they have is not enough, so they are tempted to double it by giving it out. This period is the time to keep money not give it.

Economic Depression is the time to keep money, not give it out!

I repeat- Economic Depression is the time to keep money, not give it out!

SLAVERY, 3 ECONOMIC LEVELS IN THE WORLD AND GOD'S PERSPECTIVE TO SLAVERY

www.sijinius.blogspot.com

Babylonian man has never wanted freedom for his slaves. More so, Slave-owners once used the Bible to endorse slavery and slave trade.

In the British empire back then, the White man even printed a specially edited Bible for his slaves that removed all verses that talked about the deliverance of slaves from slavery.

"It was intended for use among enslaved Africans in the British West Indies, which is modern day Caribbeans, so Jamaica, Barbados, Antigua," he says.''
"About 90 percent of the Old Testament is missing [and] 50 percent of the New Testament is missing," Schmidt says. "Put in another way, there are 1,189 chapters in a standard protestant Bible. This Bible contains only 232."

And today many Archaeology and History scholars now out-rightly dispute the FACT that the Israelites were once slaves in Egypt.
But what has been God's eternal stance concerning Slavery?

YOU ARE AN AMBASSADOR (II): A WORKER IS WORTHY OF HIS WAGE

www.sijinius.com

In Nigeria where I live, most employers believe that they are doing their employee a favor by paying them a salary. They don't see employees as 'partners in progress' but as preys and parasites that reduce their profits.

The attitude is such that- ''IF I DID NOT EMPLOY YOU, YOU WOULD BE POOR & DESTITUTE. I AM THE 'GOD' KEEPING YOU & YOUR FAMILY ALIVE.''
''WITHOUT ME/MY COMPANY, ALL OF YOU EMPLOYEES WILL BE HUNGRY, UNEMPLOYED & UNEMPLOYABLE.''
''I AM JUST DOING YOU A CHARITABLE FAVOR BY PAYING YOUR SALARY, YOU CONTRIBUTE NOTHING TO MY COMPANY.''

Unfortunately, many employees are also lazy & ignorant- they do not know the value of work, nor their rights as workers. And the government -a reflection of it all- does not protect its citizens neither do the citizens care.

So from the Bible, what is God's commandment and attitude to work, workers and their salary, regardless of the country or type of job?

CHARGING INTEREST ON A LOAN IS NOT A SIN, THE SIN IS NOT KNOWING THE DEBTOR YOU SHOULDN'T CHARGE USURY

www.sijinius.blogspot.com

God is perfect, constant- never changing. His natural laws on wealth creation and business have also not changed.

Giving/taking loans is very important in business, and interest/usury have been charged from time immemorial. In fact, you can hardly get great growth and profits in business without AT FIRST owing (people)....

Therefore, God isn't against (giving or taking) loans! It is the interest charges that is his concern.

So, does God oppose all Usury/Interest on loans?! What does the Bible say about loans and interest charges?!!

When It Comes To Spending And Borrowing, Don’t Behave Like Your Government...

www.sijinius.blogspot.com

...because while the government can print more currency to meet its (debt) obligations, or increase its spending, you can only work extra to make more money within your maximum quota of 24 hours daily.

No! Don’t be like the governments of the world who print more currency once they have more need of cash, instead of finding ways to prune down costs and reduce their spending. I used to have that mindset too believing that the fact that one can easily make (or print) money is enough evidence to throw caution to the winds by not being prudent in spending.

I watched this video series by Mike Maloney recently, and it enlightened me further on debt, money and currency issues. You can view it in your spare time too, you will learn a ton though Mike is a gold and silver investment buff.

I was actually researching for an IoT ATM-money fax machine (that I want Credicoins to build to give to its offline agents in order to facilitate a cashless society), then my partner, Bowale Banjoko sent the link to me.

Credicoins Network Ltd Financial Education Articles

sijinius.com

This blog has really suffered because of the offline work I am doing for the new company Credicoins Network Ltd. My budget is in millions of dollars (billions of Naira) as I am targeting the whole continent, so you know I have to be on top of my game, research-wise, as I don’t want to lose or waste investors’ money. I also don’t want this dream to fail.

Below are a few samples of the personal financial articles our network marketers (to be called PF Coaches) will be using to sell a savings culture. They are all topics I have covered fully in the last 5 months on this blog. At the outset, we'll print them into foldable leaflets, and translate them into the four major Nigerian languages- Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa.

The graphics artist and our cartoonist will be working together to bringing them to life with ample pictures/cartoons. And you know Nigerians don’t like to read long articles, so I have kept them short unlike my blog posts.

Hopefully, they are concise enough to drive home our simple message, and help us effectively get probably just one African living under $2 daily to SAVE REGULARLY BY PAYING HIM/HERSELF HOURLY for life- taking him/her and the family from poverty to wealth.

I must confess that the book ‘Poor Economics’ has really, truly enlightened me more about poverty, and broadened my horizon with its true-life stories, researches and facts. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

DAY 14: ALL Debt Is Bad To You, If You Have No Financial Knowledge, Discipline And Goals

The aim of these debt series is to help you understand how to use OPM (other people’s money) to achieve your life and financial goals without ‘mortgaging’ your financial future.  You will need other people at different points and times in your life, and that definitely includes their money.

Yesterday, I defined a bad debt as any loan you take in order to buy a liability. A liability (in simple terms) is anything that takes money away from your pocket. If you borrow money to organise a party, buy a personal car, buy a new phone, a flat screen TV, pay medical bills, give as donation/gift, or to invest in a business you don't understand enough to explain to a six-year old, you have just acquired a bad debt.

DAY 13: DEBT IS GOOD; WHY YOU NEED TO BE IN DEBT

courtesy: eventbrite.com
This article (title) is meant to challenge your thinking and preconceived notion about debt. Actually, debt is neither good nor bad (any more than money is good or bad). But if you google it, you will see that a lot of personal finance bloggers make money essentially teaching people to avoid debt. So should you avoid debt? The answer is no. As I have said countless times, Money is neither good nor bad. It only takes on the stupidity, or wisdom (persona) of its owner. Likewise debt, it can be good or bad, a master, or a slave.
